We appreciate your interest in our online store. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below, we provide detailed information about the handling of your data.

1. Access Data and Hosting

You can visit our websites without providing personal information. Every time a website is accessed, the web server only stores an automatically generated server log file, which contains the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of retrieval, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the retrieval.

This access data is exclusively evaluated for the purpose of ensuring smooth operation of the site and improving our offer. This serves our legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR. All access data will be deleted no later than seven days after your visit.

Hosting Services by a Third-Party Provider

In the context of processing on our behalf, a third-party provider provides hosting and website presentation services. All data collected within the use of this website or in forms provided in the online shop as described below is processed on its servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the scope outlined here.

This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

2. Data Collection and Use for Contract Processing, Contact, and Customer Account Creation

We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order or when contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such because we need the data to process the contract or to handle your contact request. You cannot complete the order or send the contact form without providing this information. The specific data collected is apparent from the respective input forms. We use the data provided by you in accordance with Art. 6(1) sentence 1(b) GDPR to process the contract and handle your inquiries.

If you have given your consent according to Art. 6(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR by choosing to create a customer account, we will use your data for the purpose of opening a customer account. After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the retention periods required by tax and commercial law unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration. You can delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to the contact details described below or using the designated function in the customer account.

3. Data Disclosure

To fulfill the contract in accordance with Art. 6(1) sentence 1(b) GDPR, we pass on your data to the shipping company responsible for the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you select during the order process, we pass on the payment data collected for payment processing to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the selected payment service. In some cases, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves, provided you create an account there. In this case, you must log in with your access data to the payment service provider during the order process. The privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.

4. Email Newsletter and Postal Advertising

Email Advertising with Newsletter Subscription
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use the data required for this or separately provided by you to send you our email newsletter regularly based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by sending a message to the contact details described below or via a link provided in the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will delete your email address from the mailing list unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration.

The newsletter is sent as part of processing on our behalf by a service provider to whom we pass on your email address for this purpose. This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

Postal Advertising and Your Right to Object

In addition, we reserve the right to use your first and last name and your postal address for our own advertising purposes, e.g., to send you interesting offers and information about our products by post. This serves our legitimate interests in promotional contact with our customers in accordance with Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR.

The advertising mailings are processed on our behalf by a service provider to whom we pass on your data for this purpose.

You can object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact details described below.

5. Cookies and Web Analytics

To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, to display suitable products or for market research, we use cookies on various pages. This serves our legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR. Cookies are small text files automatically stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the browser session ends, i.e., after you close your browser (session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit (persistent cookies). You can find the duration of storage in the overview in the cookie settings of your web browser. You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and to decide individually about their acceptance or to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Each browser differs in the way it manages cookie settings. The help menu of each browser explains how to change your cookie settings.

Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for Web Analysis
If you have given your consent according to Art. 6(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR, this website uses Google (Universal) Analytics for website analysis. The web analysis service is an offer of Google Ireland Limited. Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable analysis of the website's usage, such as cookies. The information collected automatically about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymization on this website, your IP address is shortened within the member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under this link. This prevents the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google.

Alternatively, you can click this link to prevent future collection by Google Analytics on this website. An opt-out cookie will then be placed on your device. If you delete your cookies, you will be asked to give your consent again.

6. Online Marketing

Google AdSense
Our website markets space for advertisements from third parties and advertising networks through Google AdSense. These ads are displayed in various places on this website. If you have given your consent according to Art. 6(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR, Google sets the DoubleClick cookie as part of the integration of Google AdSense.

This allows interest-based advertising through automatic assignment of a pseudonymous user ID, which is used to determine interests based on visits to this and other websites. After the purpose ceases and the use of Google AdSense ends, the data collected in this context will be deleted.

Google AdSense is an offer of Google Ireland Limited. To the extent that information is transmitted to Google's servers in the USA and stored there, the American company Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. You can view the current certificate here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating the DoubleClick cookie via this link. Additionally, you can learn more about the setting of cookies and make adjustments through the Digital Advertising Alliance.

Google Ads Remarketing
Through Google Ads, we advertise for this website in Google search results and on third-party websites. For this purpose, the remarketing cookie from Google is set when you visit our website, which automatically allows interest-based advertising through a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you visit. This serves our legitimate interests in an optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR. After the purpose ceases and the use of Google Ads Remarketing ends, the data collected in this context will be deleted.

You can deactivate the remarketing cookie via this link. Additionally, you can learn more about the setting of cookies and make adjustments through the Digital Advertising Alliance.

Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps to visually display geographical information. Google Maps is an offer of Google Ireland Limited. The use of Google Maps serves our legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer and easy location of our offices in accordance with Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR.

By using Google Maps, data about the use of the map functions by website visitors is transmitted and processed by Google, including IP address and location data. We have no control over this data processing. To the extent that information is transmitted to Google’s servers in the USA and stored there, the American company Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. You can view the current certificate here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

To deactivate Google Maps and thus prevent the transmission of data to Google, you must disable the JavaScript function in your browser. In this case, Google Maps cannot be used or only to a limited extent. Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy. The terms of use for Google Maps include detailed information about the map service.

The data processing is based on an agreement between jointly responsible parties in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR, which you can view here.

Google reCAPTCHA

For protection against misuse of our web forms and against spam, we use the Google reCAPTCHA service within some forms on this website. Google reCAPTCHA is an offer of Google Ireland Limited. By checking a manual input, this service prevents automated software (bots) from engaging in abusive activities on the website. This serves our legitimate interests in the protection of our website from abuse and in ensuring its smooth operation in accordance with Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR.

Google reCAPTCHA uses methods, such as cookies, that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The automatically collected information about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Other cookies stored in your browser by Google services are also evaluated by Google reCAPTCHA. The personal data collected by Google reCAPTCHA does not include data entered in the respective form fields.

You can prevent the collection of data generated by JavaScript or cookies and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by disabling JavaScript or cookies in your browser settings. Please note that this may restrict the functionality of our website for your use.

Further information on Google’s privacy policy can be found here.

Google Fonts

This website uses the "Google Fonts" script code. Google Fonts is an offer of Google Ireland Limited. The use of Google Fonts serves our legitimate interests in a uniform presentation of content on our website in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. In this context, a connection between your browser and Google's servers is established. This allows Google to be aware that your IP address has accessed our website.

Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy.
